Keep Out Eagle Fan
Mar 02, 2018 To prevent this, keep drilled holes at least 0.010” away from the board edge for both plated and unplated holes. In addition to minimum edge clearance, take into account other PCB drill rules. Also, keep copper traces and planes at least 0.010” from the PCB edge. Technologies; Boards; PCB Designers Need to Know These Panelization Guidelines. Unplanned delays and redesigns can be avoided by following common-sense PCB processing edge and array guidelines, as. Greetings Eagle list. I have small circular board with a large hole in the center. It fits over the bushing of a rotary control. It needs to make contact to the control on one side and the panel (with a star washer or such) on the other. There is an annular ground plane around the center hole. I want to keep the solder mask (solder stop mask. Hi, I just tried my first run at PCBway, and my gerbers didn't pass the audit, saying 'no keepout layer ( board outline )'. I used their CAM job to generate my gerber files, I just added Values and Names on both silkscreens, and I don't see the bKeepout or tKeepout layers included in any of the job sections, so even if I do use my tKeep. The entire VIN(-) and feedback path is a keep out zone from ground capacitance ( bottom layer) Judging by the two series feedback R's, my guess is two large standard values (eg 10M) to increase gain at the expensive of high impedance and great sensitivity to stray capacitance of a couple pF to (perhaps floating) ground noise.

I have small circular board with a large hole in the center. It fits over
the bushing of a rotary control. It needs to make contact to the control on
one side and the panel (with a star washer or such) on the other. There is
an annular ground plane around the center hole. I want to keep the solder
mask (solder stop mask) back from the hole so that electrical contact can
take place. So far, I not been able to find anything in the manual that
describes how to do this. Advice is appreciated.
